About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive primary and secondary sales within the Women's Health therapy area
- Manage and supervise the distributor network to achieve financial and ethical sales objectives
- Plan monthly and quarterly business activities, including demand generation and fulfillment
- Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitor products
- Achieve sales targets through science-based discussions with doctors and chemists
- Organize medical camps and Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions as per division strategy
- Maintain comprehensive customer lists of doctors and chemists in physical and electronic formats
- Ensure strict adherence to the Abbott Code of Business Conduct and pharmacovigilance standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Prior or current experience specifically within the Women's Health therapy area
- Experience working within a Multinational Corporation (MNC) or a top-tier Indian pharmaceutical company
- Fluent and confident communication skills
- Ability to travel 100% of the time as required by the role
