Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support patients in joint and independent exercises, functional tasks, and rehabilitation activities
• Assist in the management of equipment and splinting
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain accurate patient records
• Provide encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
• Collaborate with therapists to implement individualised care plans

Requirements

• Experience in major trauma orthopaedics, plastics, and neurotrauma
• Ability to work with patients on exercises and functional tasks
• Proficiency in equipment and splinting management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
