Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy services to individuals with emotional, behavioral, and other mental disorders in individual or group settings.
• Develop and implement written treatment plans with measurable goals, timelines, and outcomes.
• Conduct therapeutic intake services and pre-enrollment assessments.
• Monitor client risk to self, others, and property, providing crisis intervention and necessary referrals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and Revised Codes of Washington (RCW).
• Coordinate care with outside agencies, including medical clinics, hospitals, and schools, to ensure continuity of service.
• Ensure services are culturally competent and respect the primary language of the individual.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including risk, suicidal, and crisis intervention assessment.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License and a safe, reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide an acceptable driving report.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment urinalysis test.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Washington State Licensure in Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• At least two years of experience in direct treatment of individuals and families with emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Training in and application of Evidence-Based Practices.
• Bilingual or bicultural skills (Spanish preferred).
• Experience with clinical computer software programs.
