Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual psychotherapy to clients
• Lead group psychotherapy sessions based on client needs and evidence-based practices
• Manage up to 25 client-facing service hours per week
• Complete suicide risk assessments and Crisis Safety Plans
• Create and update individualized weekly treatment plans
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings for treatment planning and goal setting
• Collaborate with other counselors to coordinate care and manage cases
• Facilitate conflict resolution among staff and clients to maintain a safe environment
• Assist in the training and mentorship of other Therapists

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Registered Therapist status (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience focusing on adult mental health
• Ability to diagnose behavioral health problems and disorders
• Knowledge of diagnostic impressions and criteria
• Proficiency in individual and group therapy techniques
• Ability to travel between South Bay mental health residential and outpatient locations
