Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and/or young adults presenting with anxiety, depression, substance use, and other co-occurring mental health conditions
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and interviews with patients and families
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with assigned patients throughout a 28–35 day treatment episode
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates
• Synthesize and communicate clinical findings to interdisciplinary team
• Participate in aftercare and discharge planning, collaborating with families and external providers to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to ethical standards and all applicable clinical, regulatory, and licensing requirements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Licensed or pre-licensed (LMFT/AMFT, LPCC/APCC, LCSW/ASW) in California
• Previous experience in a clinical mental health or behavioral health setting
• Experience working with adolescents and/or young adults
• Experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mental health, substance use, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment
