Theatre Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation
• Prepare and maintain operating suite equipment
• Provide safe patient transport within the operating suite and manage interdepartmental transfers
• Maintain an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi-cultural environment

Requirements

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (specialising in Operating Theatre Technician)
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and technical requirements of the role
• Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centred care
• Well-developed understanding of relevant safe work practices
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
