Theatre Floor Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the specialized perioperative theatre complex at the Jolimont Road site, focusing on IVF procedures.
• Oversee the effective coordination of staff, patients, and medical practitioners to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Manage patient flow while maintaining high standards of clinical care and safety.
• Manage clinical risk and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers and senior leadership to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
• Provide a strong clinical presence and motivate the team through positive, calm leadership.

Requirements

• Strong clinical background in theatre nursing.
• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate staff and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience in an ANUM or Theatre Floor Coordinator role is highly regarded.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Perioperative Nursing.
