Theatre Anaesthetic and Scrub Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anaesthetic and scrub nursing care in the theatre environment
• Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and monitoring during surgical procedures
• Ensure the theatre environment is sterile and safe, adhering to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver effective and efficient patient care
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment with precision
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative support

Requirements

• Valid NMC or HCPC registration
• Minimum of 6 months recent experience in theatre settings
• Proven experience in theatre anaesthesia and/or scrub nursing
• Strong clinical skills and understanding of surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Right to work within the UK
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
