About the role
Responsibilities
- Create realistic or stylized textures for 3D assets across various styles and complexities
- Collaborate with Lookdev artists to achieve desired visual looks
- Follow project art direction and style guides while contributing creative ideas
- Deliver high-quality work on schedule and participate in reviews
- Communicate effectively with team members and proactively address technical or artistic issues
- Ensure quality and accuracy for all work passed to downstream departments
- Maintain references and utilize proper colorspace workflows
- Solve technical problems and assist other artists within the pipeline
Requirements
- Portfolio and demo reel showcasing strong artistic and technical skills
- 2-4+ years of production experience
- Proficient knowledge of Mari, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Maya, Mudbox, ZBrush, and Substance Designer
- Proficient knowledge of UV mapping and PBR workflows
- Good knowledge of Katana, Lookdev, and colorspace
- Basic understanding of shading, lighting, and rendering techniques
- Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX and shell scripting
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills
