Textiles Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate warping and knitting machines, ensuring proper settings and adjustments are applied.
• Load and unload magazine creels, thread equipment, and identify/repair broken ends.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including spool labels, warping charts, layouts, and log books.
• Perform basic warp knitting tasks such as fabric damage repair and beam loading.
• Conduct minor machine repairs and perform assigned preventative maintenance.
• Follow all manufacturing procedures, quality system requirements, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with experience working with textile equipment is a plus.
• Fluency in the English language with effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to convert units of measure.
• Ability to lift up to 120 lbs and move large boxes of yarn.
• Ability to stand, move, twist, and bend to operate and clean equipment.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical field production.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
