Texas Growth & Engagement Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive exponential statewide growth by identifying and shaping opportunities with large Texas agencies
• Serve as the face of Peregrine to state and local officials, influencers, and lobbyists
• Build trusted relationships with senior state and local officials to convert them into deployments
• Map Texas strategic priorities to Peregrine products to create go-to-market pathways
• Turn policy developments, funding opportunities, and procurement routes into revenue-driving initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with Growth, Customer, Marketing, Communications, and Product teams
• Develop compelling materials including briefings, GTM plans, and proposals
• Lead high-leverage engagements such as roundtables, executive briefings, and workshops
• Manage external partners, advisors, lobbyists, and consultants

Requirements

• 7+ years in government partnerships, public-sector business development, or state-level strategy within Texas
• Intimate understanding of public safety community and state/local government challenges
• Proven ability to convert government priorities and funding flows into commercial opportunities
• Strong relationships or working familiarity with Texas state agencies
• Executive-level verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset capable of thriving in fast-paced environments
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for lawmakers
