Testing Proctor

Responsibilities

• Administer and proctor academic paper/pencil tests, computerized tests, and placement tests
• Provide high-quality customer service and student advocacy to students, faculty, and staff
• Handle telephone, email, and in-person communications with professionalism
• Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in compliance with FERPA standards
• Manage appointment scheduling and facilitate testing coordination with faculty
• Investigate and resolve student questions or issues promptly and professionally

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year of work experience in customer service
• Professional verbal, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software for scheduling and test management
• Ability to handle professional communications via telephone, email, and in person

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate’s degree
• Prior knowledge of placement testing processes and academic assessment protocols
