Testing Freelancer

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications for web portal functionality within the government social services domain
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for technical systems, integration, functional testing, and UAT
• Perform data migration testing to ensure accuracy and integrity of legacy data
• Conduct API connectivity testing to validate integration of government APIs
• Collaborate with development and vendor teams for defect tracking and troubleshooting
• Work with government client quality assurance teams to align testing processes
• Document test results and provide detailed reports with root cause analysis
• Support stakeholders during UAT to verify business requirements and user expectations
• Ensure testing aligns with government IT standards and data security protocols

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in technical systems, integration, functional, and UAT testing
• Demonstrated experience in government IT systems and social services applications
• Proficiency in API testing tools and data migration validation techniques
• Expertise in developing detailed test cases and managing test environments
• Experience with Middle Eastern government workflows and cultural nuances
• Arabic language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Middle Eastern government agencies or large-scale public-sector projects
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance for government IT
• ISTQB certification or similar testing methodology certifications
