Testing & Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute testing and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems per project requirements.
• Perform functional tests, system integration tests, loop checks, and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, commissioning records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth commissioning.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users/operators on system functionality and operation.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines during all commissioning activities.
• Conduct final inspections and verification of equipment functionality before handover.
• Recommend modifications or improvements based on test results and operational feedback.

Requirements

• BEng degree
• 6+ years
• T&C experience
• Electrical systems
• Instrumentation systems
• PLC/SCADA
• DCS experience
• P&ID reading
• Troubleshooting
• Site travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP)
• Experience with PLC/SCADA programming and DCS
• Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and ATEX
• Intrinsically safe instrumentation knowledge
• Oil & gas project experience
