Testing and Commissioning Integration Lead - LRT

Responsibilities

• Develop System Integration Test (SIT) procedures and provide P.Eng stamps
• Review requirements to develop dynamic testing procedures involving multiple systems
• Work with design teams to develop construction-staged testing strategies
• Review Interface Control Documents (ICDs) against design requirements for validation
• Manage and update project Systems configuration state documents
• Develop pre-requisites for testing and manage schedules for major system SIT readiness
• Provide on-site testing support, organizing readiness and driving works
• Execute various SITs including line of sight, headway, acceleration/deceleration, and degraded mode operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, a construction-related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in field construction
• Technical knowledge and experience in the commissioning of Transit Rail Systems (e.g., Signaling, Communications, Track, SCADA, or overhead catenary)
• Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and navigate active construction sites

Preferred Qualifications

• P.Eng designation
• Experience in the construction of large civil/structural or rail projects
