Tester Helper

Responsibilities

• Perform final testing, assembly, and repair functions on completed drilling rigs to ensure they are fully functional and defect-free
• Work from blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders to complete assembly or modification duties
• Conduct functional tests and adjust operating systems including chassis, compressor, engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Set and adjust pressure (PSI) and engine speed (RPM) ratings to conformance
• Detect and report defective materials, faulty operations, or unusual conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe test area by performing 5S activities and preventing oil spills
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to complete required audits and address findings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills (specifically hydraulic and electrical)
• Ability to use hand and power tools, test equipment, and gauges
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and ERP systems
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath rigs, and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Knowledge of rig components and systems including "RCS"
