Test & Validation System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the product system testing strategy based on customer specifications, Valeo standards, and risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA).
• Analyze functional and system requirements to define the testing strategy allocation.
• Develop functional test plans and support test benches, script specification, and tool development.
• Execute test case command sequences on test benches using the DUT and vehicle test environment.
• Expand test coverage through robustness testing and end-user test cases.
• Execute test plans and report results in a compliance matrix.
• Ensure validation conditions and planning feasibility align with project commitments.
• Manage report archiving in TMT and PLM systems.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Systems Engineering or related technical fields such as embedded electronics, software, or mechanics).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded product testing (functional and environmental).
• Proven experience in the integration, testing, or validation of products and systems.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/LIN networks and associated tools like CANoe and CANdela.
• Proficiency with tools including Doors, VtestStudio, Teststand, or LabWindows/CVI.
• Knowledge of UDS, diagnostics on CAN, and requirements management.
• Ability to perform test case script editing.
