Test & Validation Functional Testing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Product Functional Testing teams across multiple product lines including E-motors and actuators
• Manage laboratory resources, ensuring availability, maintenance, and calibration of testing equipment
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in electrical and mechanical principles to solve complex issues
• Create and execute competence growth plans and training paths for team members
• Oversee test planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines
• Define and execute CAPEX investments and manage the department budget
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS requirements and quality management systems including IATF 16949 and ISO 17025
• Monitor, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in Laboratory Management, preferably in the automotive sector
• Master's degree in Electrotechnical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in both English and Polish (written and verbal)
• Deep understanding of automotive and lab standards (IATF 16949, ISO 17025)
• Knowledge of EHS standards (ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001)
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management capabilities
• Excellent analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
