Test Technician Sr.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electronic, electro-mechanical, and scientific systems
• Observe, analyze, and report test data, making necessary repairs to equipment when required
• Work from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings to validate correctness and perform tasks
• Select, set up, and operate engineering and scientific equipment
• Train junior test technicians on electronic principles, radio frequency theory, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries correlating failure modes to test specifications
• Diagnose failures from the system level down to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and individual components

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits to the component level and identifying failure trends
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) System and subsystem evaluation (Transmitter, Receiver, Antenna, etc.)
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Radio Frequency or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production test environment
• Experience with industry ERP systems such as PRISM, Oracle E-Business, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
