Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and scientific systems
• Work from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings to isolate problems between test environments and units under test
• Observe, analyze, and report test data, interpreting plots, graphs, and tabulated parameters to determine pass/fail conditions
• Generate comprehensive failure entries that correlate failure modes back to associated test specifications
• Operate engineering and scientific equipment to validate the correctness of procedures
• Work independently to complete production and acceptance testing to achieve production goals

Requirements

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience testing electronic circuits and identifying failure trends
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) communications or power systems
• Experience with RF system and subsystem evaluation, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and signal processors
