Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to Test Engineers by inspecting and testing spacecraft hardware, avionics, and sub-assemblies
• Use measurement and test equipment (soldering irons, calipers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) to build and verify products
• Maintain and support Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and test equipment such as thermal chambers and vibration tables
• Manage tools, hardware, and test activities on the production floor to ensure a safe and organized environment
• Document production and test processes and assist in optimizing build procedures and product designs
• Troubleshoot issues identified during product build or testing and execute recommended resolutions

Requirements

• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and 3D models
• Coding or programming experience (Python proficiency is preferred)
• Previous experience with Vibration, Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), and/or EMC/EMI testing
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Solid computer skills and familiarity with controlled designs and processes
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride in work ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF products, tools, or testing
• Familiarity with aerospace test standards (GEVS, CEQATR, Mil-Std-1540, CETS/CTP)
• Certified forklift and/or crane operator
