Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Position and connect equipment in preparation for testing
• Perform wire checks and visual inspections
• Assist Test Technicians in checkout and functional testing
• Complete all required documentation and post in appropriate job files
• Observe and assist in testing such as Visual Inspections, Hi-Pot, Ductor, and Continuity
• Assist in setup of safety barriers, hazard signs, PPE, and staging for energized testing
• Identify and explain the use of common testing equipment
• Demonstrate proper PPE donning sequence and hazard identification
• Assist in schematic highlighting and documenting non-conformances

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher education
• At least 1 year of control wiring experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to bend, squat, crawl, and climb
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics
