Test Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate standard tensile and fatigue test systems for material quality control and characterization
• Perform system checks and periodic maintenance on test equipment
• Follow the Manufacturing Execution System and document all work performed
• Accurately record test data in Excel and related software applications
• Assist with specialty R&D testing as needed
• Adhere to standard test procedures and protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or higher degree
• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls
• Able to work on-site in a factory environment
• Able to climb stairs and lift and carry 30+ lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand tools
• Knowledge of basic metal testing fundamentals
• Experience with tensile testing
• Competence in Excel and Microsoft tools
• Strong attention to detail
