Test Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering development and qualification tests on various aircraft components and systems
• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels
• Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot down to the component level
• Monitor test completion, maintain test equipment, and document acceptance or failure outcomes
• Operate hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely
• Utilize SAP and computer-based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and waste minimization initiatives
• Work the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) following an initial training period on the 1st shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and/or spectrum analyzers

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or a related certification
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience with thermal tables, vibrational tables, and test rigs
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a component-level troubleshooting environment
