Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform complex testing and diagnostics on aerospace components and systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications
• Document test results accurately and report deviations or failures to engineering and quality teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in aerospace testing or a related technical field
• In-depth knowledge of test equipment, diagnostic tools, and aerospace component specifications
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems and identifying root causes of failures
• Experience with calibration and maintenance of test instruments
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements applicable to aerospace supply chains
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline
• Experience working within integrated supply chain environments in aerospace or high-technology industries
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
