Test Technician-3

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve test and burn-in processes within the area of responsibility
• Review process specifications to ensure they accurately reflect requirements and update as needed
• Ensure all test and burn-in processes adhere to safety specifications
• Monitor quality yields and develop corrective actions to eliminate yield detractors and improve reliability
• Assist with the fabrication and development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs
• Coordinate and ensure the completion of scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Perform high-level repairs, software formatting, and firmware configuration on sub-assemblies
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software at multiple system levels
• Use schematic diagrams to troubleshoot unit wiring and assembly processes
• Log and address defective units and parts to manage trending failures

Requirements

• Associates degree, military technical training, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of related technical experience
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematic diagrams and technical drawings
• Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience with firmware configuration and flashing
• Ability to use various testing and measuring instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data and draw valid conclusions
