About the role

Responsibilities

  • Transform legacy, document-based systems engineering processes into a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach for the F135 ECU program
  • Build and deliver the Model-Based Test System Model using Cameo System Modeling Language (SysML)
  • Apply MBSE V&V Test System Model and methodology to serve as the authoritative source of truth for validation planning and system integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture critical system functions and key inputs/outputs in the Test System Model
  • Maintain and improve the System Model to maximize the benefits of the Collaborative Digital Environment as the program progresses

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • 5+ years of engineering experience (or 3+ years with an Advanced Degree)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering experience specifically within the aerospace industry
  • Direct experience with Verification, Validation, or Testing processes
  • Proficiency with Cameo SysML or equivalent modeling tools
