About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a 5-member QA team consisting of automation and functional engineers
- Define overall test strategies across functional, UI, API, regression, and integration testing
- Oversee Selenium automation framework health and drive automation roadmap execution
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to improve test stability and reduce manual regression
- Lead defect triage meetings and analyze trends to identify systemic issues
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for Product, BA, and Engineering stakeholders
- Ensure high release quality through defined entry/exit criteria and quality gates
Requirements
- 8–12 years of total QA experience
- 4+ years of hands-on automation experience
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring QA teams
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and REST API automation (REST Assured preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins or Azure DevOps) and SQL for backend validation
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
- Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST) and work from the Bangalore office at least 3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Travel Management Company (TMC) or Travel Technology environments
- Knowledge of booking lifecycles, ticketing, exchanges, and refunds workflows
- Familiarity with GDS integrations such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
