Test Strategist/Test Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a 5-member QA team consisting of automation and functional engineers
• Define overall test strategies across functional, UI, API, regression, and integration testing
• Oversee Selenium automation framework health and drive automation roadmap execution
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to improve test stability and reduce manual regression
• Lead defect triage meetings and analyze trends to identify systemic issues
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for Product, BA, and Engineering stakeholders
• Ensure high release quality through defined entry/exit criteria and quality gates

Requirements

• 8–12 years of total QA experience
• 4+ years of hands-on automation experience
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring QA teams
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and REST API automation (REST Assured preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins or Azure DevOps) and SQL for backend validation
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
• Willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST) and work from the Bangalore office at least 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Travel Management Company (TMC) or Travel Technology environments
• Knowledge of booking lifecycles, ticketing, exchanges, and refunds workflows
• Familiarity with GDS integrations such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
