Test Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing to ensure accuracy and consistency after data migration.
• Design and execute test strategies, including positive, negative, and regression testing, based on project requirements.
• Utilize automated and manual testing techniques to increase efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to develop comprehensive test plans, conditions, and cases.
• Document test results and create detailed defect reports, following all issues through to resolution and closure.
• Apply knowledge of payment card industry standards and security compliance to all testing activities.
• Act as a single point of contact for assigned client projects regarding test activities and coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience or knowledge within the Bankcard industry.
• Proficiency with IBM Rational tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Working towards International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification.
• Experience with IBM Mainframe Systems (TSO, JHS, CICS).
• Familiarity with various software tools such as HP Quality Center, Selenium, SoapUI, or Jmeter.
