Test Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Sustain, optimize, and improve the testing of sputtered disks for hard disk media manufacturing in a high-volume environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test cell yield issues to maintain product quality and throughput.
• Conduct investigations for quality incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor key process input variables (KPIVs) using KPOV databases and digital maintenance systems.
• Drive equipment and process upgrade projects to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Act as a technical trainer for test equipment and processes to upskill team members.
• Set up new measurement methods as required by R&D and the test process team.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and documentation practices.

Requirements

• Advanced, Higher, or Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field).
• 4-5 years of manufacturing experience, specifically in process, data monitoring, or data analysis.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and understanding of core engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Minitab.
• Basic understanding of Visual Basic programming.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Basic project management skills, including planning, execution, and reporting.
