Test Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and security testing
• Architect scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks and solutions
• Lead and mentor QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality into every stage of the SDLC
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics
• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies
• Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and mitigation plans

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software testing
• 3-5 years in a leadership or architect role
• Strong experience in API automation and web services testing (Rest Assured with Java is a must)
• Deep expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Appium
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Awareness of AI tools and technology (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
• ISTQB Advanced Level or Certified Test Manager certifications
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Domain expertise in industries such as Airlines
