Test Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the Test Laboratory's P&L, including defining investments and optimizing resources
• Lead the Test Laboratory team, managing objectives and fostering professional growth
• Ensure compliance with EHS directives and instructions by all team members
• Develop and preserve external recognitions and accreditations such as EN 17025, ISO, and IRIS
• Implement, manage, and continuously improve the laboratory's quality system
• Ensure the achievement of tests in accordance with SQCD commitments
• Build and nurture partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D and equipment suppliers
• Ensure the independence, integrity, and confidentiality of laboratory staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 12–15 years of experience in a Test Lab environment
• 2–5 years of experience in team management
• At least 2 years of practical experience in Railway, Health, Defense, Aeronautical, or Automotive industries
• Strong knowledge of train or traction systems (minimum 2 years)
• Mastery of testing standards (e.g., EN 17025), methods, tools, and means
• Fluency in English
• Experience in managing work packages for external customers
