Test Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the environmental test lab including procurement, setup, and maintenance of vibration tables and thermal chambers
• Design and procure test fixturing and manage sound solutions
• Build, operate, and troubleshoot complex fluid systems for test applications
• Integrate and operate critical test instrumentation such as thermocouples, strain gauges, and load cells
• Enable development, qualification, and acceptance testing of components
• Design hardware systems in CAD
• Write test procedures and perform hazard and test data analysis
• Safely operate high pressure and cryogenic systems

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in a design and test environment
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Deep experience testing and operating complex fluid systems
• Proven hands-on experience with test instrumentation
• Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and crawling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Direct experience in the space or aerospace industry
• Experience building data acquisition systems and creating P&IDs
• Experience with hydraulic systems
