Test Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests on power transformers and ensure the functionality of protection and monitoring systems.
• Check electrical wiring based on circuit diagrams and customer orders to ensure quality standards.
• Parameterize, test, and ensure the reliable function of protection devices and monitoring systems.
• Select appropriate measuring and testing technology, program devices, and analyze errors to develop solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, workshop, and technical teams to create test reports and customer documentation.

Requirements

• Completed technical training (Apprenticeship or HTL) in electrical engineering, energy technology, or mechatronics.
• At least two years of practical experience in an electrical engineering environment.
• Strong interest in high-voltage technology, testing technology, and protection systems.
• Structured, precise, and independent working style with a hands-on mentality.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.
• Availability for 3-shift operation.
• Solid German and English language skills.
