Test & Evaluation Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document tests on electrical and electronic products, systems, components, and materials
• Design systems, software, and methodologies to meet specific customer requirements
• Participate in test design and perform routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of test fixtures and systems
• Facilitate systems integration, including pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down
• Conduct routine tests, analyze resulting data, and document findings
• Troubleshoot and recommend resolutions for basic laboratory and test-related problems

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher, a Technical certificate/degree, or 1+ years of equivalent technical experience
• Ability to work the 4th shift (overnight)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience
• Experience with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital volt meters
• Experience with environmental stress screening, including vibration and thermal cycle testing
