About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently perform fabrication and assembly of components, cables, complex test fixtures, and electronics racks
- Use hand tools, soldering, and manual mechanical buildup to create test systems and hubs
- Assist in implementing manufacturing processes and technologies
- Facilitate systems integration, fabrication, and modification while supporting product checkout
- Conduct tests, participate in design reviews, and troubleshoot laboratory or test-related problems
- Maintain and repair laboratory equipment
- Coach and train other team members
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- 4+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics
- 4+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, etc.)
- Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication
Preferred Qualifications
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Proven ability to assemble, rework, and troubleshoot small mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analog/digital designs
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, iterative R&D environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
