Test, Evaluation, and Fabrication Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Independently perform fabrication and assembly of components, cables, complex test fixtures, and electronics racks
• Use hand tools, soldering, and manual mechanical buildup to create test systems and hubs
• Assist in implementing manufacturing processes and technologies
• Facilitate systems integration, fabrication, and modification while supporting product checkout
• Conduct tests, participate in design reviews, and troubleshoot laboratory or test-related problems
• Maintain and repair laboratory equipment
• Coach and train other team members

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• 4+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics
• 4+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, etc.)
• Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Proven ability to assemble, rework, and troubleshoot small mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analog/digital designs
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, iterative R&D environment
• Strong verbal communication skills
