Test Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure test equipment functions optimally with >99.3% slot-on availability
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test systems
• Monitor real-time and historical data to detect issues and maximize uptime
• Use data analytics to identify patterns and anticipate potential equipment issues
• Analyze equipment performance data to optimize maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with production and quality teams for continuous improvement
• Provide technical reports and presentations regarding equipment performance

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronic
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or MATLAB
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance and AI-driven reliability approaches
• Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in test equipment engineering within SSD manufacturing
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, digital/analog electronics, and instrumentation
• Ability to troubleshoot SSD test equipment and manage calibration protocols
