Test Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and engineering staff, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
• Manage equipment performance by driving key metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, and OEE through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Optimize production workflows by prioritizing hot lots, managing manpower schedules, and overseeing overtime to meet production targets.
• Ensure quality and compliance by representing the team in 8D, MRB, and CAR meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement through annual projects focused on increasing yield, reducing downtime, or cost reduction.
• Manage spare parts inventory based on historical data and equipment life cycles to prevent production delays.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Proven leadership and team management experience with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills for complex equipment or process issues.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing KPIs including attendance, utilization, safety, and audit findings.
• Practical experience with TPM, 8D, MRB, and CAR methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
