Test Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, strategies, and systems.
• Lead and coordinate electronic engineering personnel in the design of testing apparatus, software, and systems.
• Act as a technical advisor to the test engineering team and a liaison to other engineering functions.
• Define test conditions, sequences, and phases of operation to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Resolve yield issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous monitoring.
• Interface with technical personnel to resolve product malfunctions and interpret complex test data.
• Train and instruct technicians and operators on test systems and problem-solving methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of new technologies and Lean/Kaizen methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven experience in ICT, FT, and 5DX management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in functional testing, system integration, and test instrumentation.
• Advanced programming knowledge and experience with flying probe systems (Takaya & SPEA).
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC functional testing and power electronics (inverters, rectifiers, SMPS, VFDs).
• Knowledge of industrial networking (TCP/IP, VLANs) and integration with PLCs or SCADA.
• Experience with electrical safety validation, including HIPOT systems and arc flash analysis.
