About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Package Design department in developing new package designs and concept generation
- Perform specification management and sample creation
- Assist with CAD-based structural design and the physical creation of functional prototype packaging
- Conduct performance testing and support the optimization of existing packaging
- Assist with Project Management and Engineering activities as required
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Package Engineering Bachelor’s Program
- College-level mathematical skills and high-level reasoning abilities
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to perform complex tasks across various programs
- Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
- Familiarity with paperboard, corrugated materials, plastics, and flexible films
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of introductory packaging or medical/pharmaceutical packaging courses
- Knowledge of CAD, TOPS, or Adobe Illustrator design software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
