Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, coordinate, and conduct reliability tests, including HALT, environmental tests, and life tests
• Document test results in a structured and traceable manner
• Derive targeted improvement and development measures based on thorough failure analyses to integrate into the development process
• Lead certification projects within interdisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth coordination between all stakeholders
• Manage the conception, procurement, further development, and maintenance of test systems and equipment

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, a comparable qualification, or technical training with relevant professional experience
• Practical experience in reliability testing and/or working with safety standards such as IEC/EN/UL 61010-1
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Beckhoff, EATON, LabVIEW, or Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, as reports are standardly written in English
• Proficiency in MS Office
