Test Engineer Technician/Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Commission a new tribometer by developing test methods based on specific materials and components
• Program test cycles and automate measurement sequences using control software
• Write standard operating procedures to ensure test repeatability
• Perform mechanical assembly of dry and wet clutches on test benches
• Monitor test campaigns to ensure stability of parameters such as torque, pressure, and temperature
• Identify and report any assembly or instrumentation anomalies
• Develop and maintain Excel calculation tools to automate data analysis
• Write VBA macros for rapid processing of large data volumes extracted from test benches
• Create reports including graphs and summary tables to analyze results against expectations

Requirements

• Ability to develop test methods and program test cycles
• Experience or proficiency in the mechanical assembly of clutches
• Strong skills in data analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in VBA macro development for Excel automation
