Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases for geospatial applications and Java microservices
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools
• Conduct manual testing to verify complex geospatial analysis and visualization features
• Perform regression testing to identify and track software defects
• Evaluate the performance of Java microservices and geospatial applications
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including plans, cases, and reports
• Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on design and advocate for quality
• Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems
• Contribute to process improvements and stay updated with industry trends

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE Polygraph
• Two years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 4 years additional experience)
• Ability to lead or mentor junior Test Engineers
• Strong proficiency in Python for automated test solutions and CI/CD integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial applications, Java microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of geospatial techniques, analysis, and visualization
• Proficiency in Selenium, JUnit, or similar automation tools
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
