Test Engineer – SerDes high speed IP ATE Test Development & Characterization

Responsibilities

• Validate advanced high-speed SerDes IPs by developing ATE test solutions for production, design validation, and characterization
• Work on the Advantest 93000 tester platform, covering SerDes PHYs such as PCIe, UFS, USB2/3/4, DSI, CSI, and proprietary high-speed IP
• Collaborate with design, system, bench, and vector teams to bring up ATE test cases and debug silicon issues
• Partner with hardware teams to develop ATE tests that meet production requirements
• Support volume production through test time reduction and yield issue debugging
• Drive failure analysis to completion across various stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
• Understanding of signal integrity concepts and SerDes IP fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of digital, analog, mixed-signal, and VLSI fundamentals
• Experience with the Advantest 93000 platform or other ATE platforms
• Understanding of SerDes IP working fundamentals (e.g., CTLE, CDR)
• Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis, and techniques
• Experience in test automation development, scripting, and debugging
