Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain test documentation and hardware for precision assemblies
• Interpret system diagrams and requirements for test definition
• Plan, design, execute, and perform preventive maintenance for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in assembly, integration, and test cycles
• Perform functional, life, vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and launch integration testing
• Design and develop automated scripts and supporting test equipment
• Characterize test data to formulate failure modes and pass/fail criteria
• Utilize test equipment including transducers, valves, digital multimeters, and oscilloscopes

Requirements

• BS degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• 2+ years of experience in a test environment
• Experience working with high pressure fluid systems
• Experience testing space-qualified hardware including TVAC and thermal chambers
• Experience with fittings (VCR, compression, AN, NPT, KF)
• Proficiency with hand-held assembly tools like torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
• Strong problem solving and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SMC-S-016, GEVS, and SSCMAN standards
• Experience with Python, C++, LabView, Dewesoft, or MATLAB
• Expertise working with spacecraft or launch vehicle operations
