Test Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Support new product design teams through test development, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking
• Provide feedback to engineering teams regarding testing requirements and improvements to current methods
• Use statistical methods to interpret test data and make formal recommendations to product design teams
• Develop test requirements and efficient procedures based on specifications during the design phase
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, documentation control systems, and test fixture specifications
• Maintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental standards
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Act as a technical resource to other departments to resolve testing issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in a test lab environment
• Knowledge of Test and Measurement techniques, including sensor technology, signal conditioning, and data acquisition
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and measurement uncertainty calculations
• Knowledge of mechatronics incorporating hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as LabVIEW, Visual Basic, C, ladder logic, or assembly
