Test Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Qualification Lab and equipment to support the Product Group
• Set up and execute EMI, PQ, and Environmental development and qualification tests
• Create comprehensive Qualification Data Packages to support formal Test Reports
• Participate in Test Build Design, including procurement and vendor coordination
• Perform Test Build Verification and Validation
• Maintain and improve new lab processes
• Support test estimates, scheduling, and the multi-skilling/training of team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in qualification testing (environmental, EMI/EMC, or qualification)
• Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test software, procedure writing, and report writing
• Hands-on experience with test equipment including EMI Receivers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers, Signal generators, antennas, and oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of industry standards such as RTCA DO-160, ABD0100.1.2, ABD0100.1.8.1, D6-16050-4, or MIL-STD-461
• Working experience specifically with EMI, Environmental, and Power Quality testing
