Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Solicit requirements and translate them into test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
• Perform functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and performance testing at component and system levels
• Report, track, and resolve software defects and issues using Jira and GitLab
• Work across multiple development teams to ensure product quality, usability, and mission readiness

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
• At least 3 years of functional/system-level software testing
• Experience in Linux environments
• Ability to derive technical and test requirements from complex technical concept of operations
• Experience defining test plans and test cases from scratch
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Experience authoring and presenting test reports
• Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, or Eclipse

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software configuration management processes
• Developing and executing automated tests using RobotFramework or Selenium
• Proficiency with Linux command line interface
• Familiarity with CentOS Linux or Rocky Linux
• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, or Confluence
