Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting electronic systems, software, and equipment.
• Coordinate the design, fabrication, and installation of testing apparatus, control devices, and calibration instruments.
• Interface with technical personnel to resolve malfunctions, data interpretation issues, or coding errors.
• Evaluate test data and prepare detailed technical reports for engineering and management teams.
• Resolve test yield problems by performing root cause analysis and coordinating corrective action measures.
• Perform equipment verification and integration within the production environment.
• Train and instruct technicians and operators on test hardware, software, and problem-solving techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation.

Requirements

• 6 years of test engineering experience, specifically within the high-technology electronics industry.
• Proficiency in applying advanced mathematical concepts, including exponents, logarithms, and quadratic equations.
• Strong ability to perform statistical analysis, such as frequency distribution, analysis of variance, and sampling theory.
• Proven experience in technical report writing and creating procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific and technical journals and diagrams.
• Expertise in data interpretation and equipment verification.
