Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with clients to assist in testing preparation and challenge resolution
• Schedule and manage assigned projects from introduction to test report issuance
• Perform environmental simulation testing using specialized equipment and software
• Execute mechanical designs using CAD software
• Provide technical oversight and task assignment to Test Technicians
• Assist with project scoping, quoting efforts, and ISO 17025 technical audits
• Maintain facility organization and cleanliness in assigned zones

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry knowledge
• 4 years of experience in vibration/shock and environmental simulation testing
• Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software (e.g., Solidworks)
• Basic understanding of electricity and electronics
• Ability to follow block diagrams and schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Clean driving record
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power tools and light machining
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and climb ladders/use scissor lifts
